Reflecting on the quote provided I think it emphasizes the importance of each individual acting in a socially responsible way in order to create a greater sense of global interconnectedness. Being part of the generation of change there is a lot of pressure on us to fix the problems caused by those who came before us. I think the first step to grow from this is tackling our current climate crisis. The issues with our environment are causing a domino effect around the world affecting people of different backgrounds in a multitude of ways. Having a common goal will cause everyone to come together in order to solve it. If we are able to work together on one issue, it will pave the way for the future creating a better and more sustainable world.
Hi Sophia! I like the idea behind your post, it is really important. I think your idea of the domino effect is interesting. What one issue to you propose we should start with? Maybe there is a way for educational institutes to hold an emphasis of this topic, and integrate it into learning.
ReplyDeleteHey Sophia. A solution to the climate crisis would definitely make the world a better place. I think one of the primary initiatives one could take would be identifying sources of the major greenhouse gases and figuring out how more efficient ways to decrease those greenhouse gas emissions. Just a thought.
